Yesterday marked the end of my term as an SSC President as the CBL provides that our tenure ends three days before the enrollment. The Freshmen enrollment will be on Monday.
A million thanks to all the people who helped the SSC for the past two years in all its activities, advocacies, and fights. I could not mention all your names, but rest assured all your efforts are remembered and valued whether you helped carry chairs during the general assembly, said the opening prayer, did an errand, or chaired a specific committee. Every small act contributes to the success of the whole.
Thanks to our advisers, faculty, staffs, and administrators, friends who contributed in one way or another in the success of our endeavors.
In behalf of the officers of the past two years, daghang salamat gyud sa tanan nga naghatag higayun sa pagtabang ug pagkooperar sa mga kalihukan sa SSC. Also forgive us of our shortcomings.
It’s been a challenging, and indeed, a beautiful journey. What I’ll cherish and will miss the most is the friendship I’ve shared with fellow officers and friends whom I met along the way. I’m hoping that the end of our tenure will not end our friendship, but it will continue to flourish in a deeper level.
Lastly, let me share to you a quote that sums up our stay in the SSC: “When all has been said and done, what has been done is better that what has been said.”
Thank you. To God be the glory.
