A Muslim Woman

I found this poster in Rajah Baguinda Hall where I had a meeting with the student leaders of MSU-Sulu. The poem counters the stereotypes we have against Muslim women and reminds us to reconsider them. We can’t really understand a Muslim woman if we haven’t met, talked, and dined with one.

Let’s respect them inasmuch as we respect our mothers.
